Year 1: Up to $166,200 was awarded to three community-based organizations: Casa Myrna Vasquez, City Life/Vida Urbana, and HomeStart
Funded by: Boston Medical Center, Boston Children’s Hospital, and Brigham and Women’s Hospital

 

Upstream Fund

advance policy and systems change efforts that support and promote stable, affordable housing

Total Grant Funds: $927,800
Year 1:
A total of $600,000 for up to 4 awards. Up to $150,000 for a one-year grant period
Funded by: Boston Medical Center and Boston Children’s Hospital

 

Resident-Led Fund

Supports a democratized process addressing root causes of housing instability

Total Investment: $100,000
Year 1: $100,000 to The Center for Economic Democracy, Boston Ujima Project, and Right to the City to plan and implement a democratized process that will seek additional grant funding
Funded by: Boston Medical Center
